Brandi and Elisabeth are central Illinois natives who’s love for running and each other began right here on the trail! The root began to grow on the CMAR course ultimately leading to ultra running all over the world. They are so excited to bring their passion and lessons learned to local races in the Peoria area.

For 2026, BEradicle will host 2 races. The trail that started it all is the pictured here, the CMAR course itself, so it just made sense to pour love into the CMAR race. As BErad grows, you can expect a new and fun 50K race experience, fondly referred to as Localz, for December 2026!

BE radicle racing comes from the idea of the corn “radicle” which is the first root emerging from a corn seed and securing the plant for growth. We want to support you in growing your running passion! We wish be the strong root that grounds you for success for all your ultra running goals!
