WHY RADICLE? A radicle is the first part of a corn seed to emerge from the seedling during germination; it is the primary root that grows downward to anchor the new plant and absorb water and nutrients to foster plant growth.

BE Radicle aims to be the roots that foster your endurance running passion.

OUR MISSION: We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable trail running community that celebrates diversity across all races, ethnic backgrounds, and sexual orientations. Our mission is to uplift the local community and park district by attracting national endurance trail and ultra athletes to support and enhance the trail networks of central Illinois.

We are committed to giving back through trail work and local initiatives, ensuring that the beauty of our natural spaces is preserved for future generations. By organizing nationally recognized events, we aim to make trail running accessible to all, especially in rural areas, while inspiring a passion for the outdoors.

Through our efforts, we strive to empower athletes to achieve their endurance goals and cultivate a love for the trails and the community that surrounds them.
